At that time the cowboys drove huge herds of cattle from El Paso to San Antonio, of course with beef in their provisions. But not a good steak without an equally good sauce - that applies today as it did then. Capturing the taste of that time is the passion of Old Texas. All sauces are free from preservatives and flavor enhancers, from artificial flavors and colors. What makes Old Texas are pure tomato puree, cane sugar, chilli and mustard, as well as selected spices such as oregano, cumin and cloves ... and the signature smoky notes.
