The story of the Ramster wood-fired oven begins with a love of baking and tradition.

Thomas Ramster:
‘Even as a child, I used to spend my holidays in a village of 90 souls,
which had a wood-fired oven where bread was baked every Saturday and cakes on Sundays
baked for all the families.
It was a very special experience for me as a child,
when the smell of freshly baked bread drifted through the village,
It was something you could only find in the countryside.
Perhaps I was already infected by the special way of baking at that time,
which I continue to develop to this day.’
We attach great importance to manual labour, craftsmanship and natural preparation in all areas and follow the ‘back to nature’ trend.
We offer a wide range of different wood-fired ovens in all sizes, both for private and commercial use. Our extensive range of accessories as well as grain mills and smoking ovens round off the programme.
We would particularly like to emphasise our tarte flambée dough, which is produced in a real tarte flambée factory. In contrast to today's standard, partially fully automated mass production, these are still produced by hand, weighed by hand, shaped again by hand on a hot plate after rolling and cut, more craftsmanship is hardly possible.

At regular intervals we organise our wood-burning oven festival, where we present the various preparation options in our wood-burning ovens.
